Dingaleshwar Swamiji Likely to Withdraw Nomination

Dharwad: Fakira Dingaleshwar Swamiji of Shirahatti Bhavikyata Math, who filed his nomination as an independent candidate from the Dharwad Lok Sabha constituency, is reportedly poised to withdraw his nomination.

His team of advocates and proposers, who had proposed his candidacy, are currently in the Deputy Commissioner’s office. An official statement regarding Swamiji’s withdrawal from the election will be issued as soon as they emerge from the office.

Swamiji, who alleged that Pralhad Joshi had done injustice to the Lingayat community, initially filed his nomination and had been vocal about not backing off under any circumstances. The reason for his withdrawal remains unanswered, and only he can provide clarity on this matter.
